My name is Kristy.
I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, dog owner, home owner, decorator, crafter, cook, hostess, organizer, and traveler. I have been a dog foster parent, jewelry maker, nursery director, singer, small group leader, and child advocate. I've lived in three different states (one of them twice) and two different countries in my adult life.
But mostly, I'm just a child of God, trying to live day by day in this life adventure.

Your first dawn blinded you, left you cursing the day.
Entrance is crucial and it's not without pain.
There's no path to follow, once you're here.
You'll climb up the slide and then you'll slide down the stairs.
It's foreign on this side, but it feels like I'm home again.

Hi, Kristy, thanks for stopping by to see me! I am enjoying making all these new friends, so I hope you'll come back often. I love the beach too (in fact, we're going to the beach in a week!). Looks like you are working very hard on your cute cottagey house. I looked through your pics...very nice!
ReplyDeleteAs far as painting those baskets, all I did was tape it off with painter's tape & spray painted with Apple Green paint from Lowes. As long as you tape off where you don't want the paint to go, you'll be fine. All my baskets were different colors, so this was an inexpensive way to unify them to one look. So, just look for mismatched ones & spray away. I wanted black accents, so I did find some that already had some black on there & I didn't have to do anything but tape off & paint green.
